THE BREWERY

The Cayman Islands Brewery was launched in 2007. The board of Directors includes Cayman businessmen Mr A.L Thompson, Mr Desmand Campbell and Mr Clifton Connolly. They are joined on the Board by overseas investors, Mr Robert Dory, Mr Stephen Webster and Mr John Otway, all of whom have a considerable track record in the beverage and brewing industry. 

The Brewery's Commercial Manager is Mr James Mansfield. Mr Mansfield joined the brewery in March 2009, and brings over 25 years experience in the alcoholic beverage industry, primarily gained with Diageo in the sales and marketing field.  

On the management team he is joined by Andreas Moerl (brewer) and Craig Webster.

The company employed the services of Brewtech GmbH, a German company that specializes in the design and construction of breweries and modernization of existing plants.

The brewery is approximately 12,000 sq ft, and is located on a 3 acre site on Shamrock Road, Prospect, 
Grand Cayman.

THE BREWERY TOUR

Brewery tours are available every Monday trough to Friday on the hour from 9 am to 4 pm. Private tours can be arrange for bookings over 10 persons in the evening. These informative tours include samples of all the products, and are conducted by knowledgeable members of the brewing staff. Ring ahead for bottling days for the main experience. The Gift store is also open during these times selling exclusive Caybrew and Caylight items.
