The Cayman Islands Brewery is proud to announce the launch of our newest beer White Tip Lager.
White Tip Lager is a moderate bodied pilsen lager, brewed in the style of a European premium brand. The finest malt and additional aroma hops provide the beer with extra flavour and a smooth bitterness. Golden in colour with a clean crisp palate, the beer has extended maturation time to achieve the 5.2% ABV and smooth flavours.
The brand has been produced in conjunction with the Cayman Islands Department of Environment, Marine conservation international and Save our seas. For each case sold we will be donating $1.20 towards marine, Reef and Shark conservation in the Cayman Islands.

Dec 2011 - Introducing ISB (Ironshore Bock) in bottles
Bock beer originated in the Northern German city of Einbeck in the 14th century, and was recreated in Munich in the 17th century. Its alcohol content ranges from 6.3% to 7.2% by volume. The beer has a complex malty flavor dominated by the richness of Munich and Vienna malts, which contribute toasty flavors. It has a low hop bitterness, usually enough to not overwhelm the malt flavors, allowing a slight sweetness to linger into the finish. Bock is light copper to brown in color with reddish highlights, with good clarity despite the dark color. It has a large, creamy, persistent off-white head, and moderate to moderately low carbonation.
Ironshore Bock is an amber beer made with specialty hops from Washington States Cascade Mountains. The Cascade hops give the beer its crispy after taste.
Three speciality malts are used along with the Pilsner malt. Black Malt gives the beer the amber / reddish color. Crystal and Munich malt gives the beer a roasted flavor.
ISB is 7% in alcoholic content and currently available on draft, can and Now Bottles

Did you know that more than 45 different brands of beer are brewed in the Caribbean? And it is with great pride that Cayman can say they have the #1 beer of them all! In the recent Caribbean Rum and Beer Festival in Barbados, the Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB) took away the first place gold in the Caribbean Alcoholic Beverage Awards with Caylight. Their original brand, Caybrew also came away a winner with the third place bronze medal.
During the event, the public had two days to sample all the beers from around the Caribbean. The judging itself, which took place on 20 November 2010, was a blind tasting, so as to provide a level playing field for the entries. The beers were evaluated on four criteria: appearance, aroma, taste and overall impression. In the end, the panel of six judges, including four international industry afficionados, announced their verdict, and CIB came away with two winners! The second place silver award was presented to Heineken Beer from Windward & Leeward Brewery, St. Lucia.
